Datsit Citrus Organic Whipped Body Butter is a bright, naturally scented body moisturiser made with organic plant-based butters and oils.

Triple whipped for a smooth, lightweight texture, this waterless formula melts on contact with the skin and is designed to moisturise deeply without leaving a heavy, greasy feel.

The fresh citrus scent comes naturally from organic sweet orange and lemon peel oils, blended with shea butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil and a selection of nourishing plant oils.

What does Citrus Body Butter smell like?

Datsit Citrus Organic Whipped Body Butter has a fresh, uplifting citrus scent created naturally with organic sweet orange and lemon peel oils. There is no synthetic fragrance.

What ingredients does it contain?

The Citrus formula contains organic shea butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, castor seed oil, arrowroot powder, jojoba seed oil, avocado oil, vitamin E, sweet orange oil and lemon peel oil.

Does Citrus Body Butter contain nuts?

Yes. This formula contains sweet almond oil. If you prefer to avoid nut-derived skincare ingredients, choose our Nut Free Organic Whipped Body Butter instead.

Who is it suitable for?

Citrus is a good everyday choice for anyone who enjoys naturally scented body care and wants a rich moisturiser without a heavy, greasy finish.

If you have known allergies or sensitivities, always check the full ingredient list and patch test before first use.

Will it feel greasy?

A small amount goes a long way. The whipped, waterless formula melts on contact with the skin and is designed to absorb without leaving a heavy, greasy feel.

How do I use it?

Take a small amount and massage it into the skin until absorbed. Because Datsit is waterless and concentrated, you generally need less than you would with a conventional body lotion.

How should I store it?

Keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight and heat. Because Datsit does not use waxes or synthetic stabilisers, the texture can soften or melt in warmer conditions. If this happens, the texture may change after cooling, but the body butter can still be used as normal.

Is it vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. Datsit body butters are vegan and cruelty-free, handmade in the UK and made with 100% natural ingredients, 98% of which are certified organic.

    I was first alerted to datsit body butter after reading a favourable review in a recent Sunday newspaper. Unfortunately having now received the product I’m afraid I can’t agree. Whilst the consistency of the butter is good, the citrus fragrance is so artificial that I have only been able to use the butter twice. There is very little hint of citrus, such a shame. I’m afraid I won’t be continuing to use this body butter and wish I hadn’t purchased the larger size as it will be wasted.

      The fragrances are derived from organic essential oils, as I describe on the product pages. I can assure you that absolutely nothing artificial is used in any of my formulations.
      I take on board that some customers might prefer a much stronger fragrance profile, but I have chosen to make my products quite subtle to enable the customer to still use their preferred perfume daily, without clashing.
      However I fully understand that not every product is for everyone, and wish you well on your natural skincare journey.

    My order came a day later than expected, which was a little disappointing. But I still happened to be home when the postman arrived (waiting for my Uber!) so that was God smiling on me 🙌🏽🙌🏽This is a beautiful body butter that feels extremely moisturising. A little did seem to go a long way when I first applied it. However, my marker for how moisturising a body product is, is how soft my body is at the end of the day. Unfortunately my skin felt as if it needed topping up. I‘ve used it for a week to get used to it. I’m not sure if I need to use it twice a day, but I wouldn’t use something like that for night time. I find a body oil better at night. Aside from that it’s a really lovely product that is quite moisturing.
